Airbnb cleaning in East London – same-day turnovers - Cleaning East London

Airbnb Cleaning in East London (E)

Airbnb cleaning in East London for hosts who can’t be at the property every time a guest checks out. We turn your flat or house round between stays: beds changed, bathroom reset, kitchen cleared and supplies topped up, so the next guest walks into the place they saw in your listing photos. We cover short lets across E postcodes, from studio flats with a sofa bed to family houses that sleep eight.

Send us your listing link, the address and your usual changeover times, and we’ll come back with a free quote.

What a turnover clean covers

A turnover clean is a reset, not a spring clean. The aim is a property that’s clean, guest-ready and consistent every time, done within the window you’ve got.

We agree a checklist with you for your property, and your cleaner works through it on every visit. A typical short let turnover looks like this.

Bedrooms

  • Strip beds and check mattress protectors and pillows for marks
  • Make beds with fresh linen, folded and presented the way your photos show
  • Dust bedside tables, headboards, lamps and window sills
  • Check under beds and inside wardrobes and drawers for left items, hangers and rubbish
  • Vacuum floors, including under the bed where we can reach

Bathroom

  • Clean the toilet inside and out, including the base and behind the seat
  • Descale taps and the shower head where needed, and squeegee the shower screen so it dries without spots
  • Remove hair from plugholes and the shower tray
  • Wipe tiles, mirrors and the vanity unit, then mop the floor
  • Hang fresh towels and set out toiletries

Kitchen

  • Wash, dry and put away anything left in the sink or dishwasher
  • Empty the fridge of guest leftovers and wipe the shelves
  • Clean the hob, splashback, worktops and sink
  • Wipe the microwave inside and out, and the fronts of the oven, kettle and toaster
  • Empty and reline bins, and take rubbish and recycling to the right bins for your building

Living areas and the finishing touches

  • Dust surfaces, TV unit, shelves and skirting where marked
  • Plump cushions, fold throws and straighten rugs
  • Wipe light switches, door handles and remote controls
  • Vacuum and mop floors
  • Set the heating, blinds and lights the way you’ve asked, so the property looks right in a guest’s first photo

Linen, restocking and the things guests notice

Most bad reviews about cleanliness come down to small things: a hair on the pillow, an empty loo roll holder, a mug left in a cupboard. That’s where we put our attention.

Linen. We make up beds using linen you keep at the property, or linen delivered by your laundry or linen hire company. We bag used sets ready for collection or for your own laundry arrangement. We’ll agree how many spare sets you need on site, because a tight turnover with one set of sheets doesn’t work.

Restocking. We top up from the supplies you store at the property: toilet roll, hand soap, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, tea, coffee and any welcome items. When a stock runs low, we tell you before it runs out.

Presentation. Hotel-style beds, towels folded the same way each time, and a final walk-through from the front door, looking at the place as a guest would.

Owner checklists and reporting

We work from your checklist, not a generic one. If your guests always use the balcony, it goes on the list. If there’s a cupboard guests can’t open, we leave it alone.

After each turnover we can send:

  • Confirmation the clean is finished
  • Photos of the main rooms
  • Notes on anything broken, stained or missing
  • A list of supplies that need replacing

That gives you a record if you need to raise something with a guest through the platform, and it means you’re not finding out about a broken kettle from the next review.

What isn’t part of a standard turnover

A turnover clean keeps a let in good order between stays. Some jobs need more time or different equipment, and we quote them separately:

  • Oven interiors. A wipe of the oven door is routine. A greasy oven needs proper oven cleaning.
  • Carpet and upholstery stains. We’ll spot-treat light marks where the fabric allows, but red wine on a cream sofa needs a specialist visit, and some stains won’t fully come out.
  • Periodic deep cleans. Every few months a busy let needs a deep clean: inside cupboards, behind appliances, limescale build-up and extractor filters.
  • High-level work and external windows.
  • Party clean-ups. Heavy mess after a guest has broken house rules takes longer, and we’ll tell you what we found and quote before carrying on.

Cleaning won’t fix mould caused by damp, damaged worktops or worn grout. If we spot something like that, we’ll report it so you can get the right trade in.

How we set up your turnovers

  1. Tell us about the property. Send the address, listing link, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, typical check-out and check-in times and how often you’re booked.
  2. We agree the checklist and quote. Photos help us see the layout and finishes. For larger homes we may visit first.
  3. We sort out access. We agree how your cleaner gets in and where keys or codes are kept.
  4. We share your calendar. You give us your bookings or calendar access, and we schedule cleans around them.
  5. We clean and check. Your cleaner works through the agreed list, checks it before leaving, then sends the report.
  6. You tell us if something’s missed. If something within the agreed checklist hasn’t been done, get in touch promptly and we’ll arrange to put it right. We’ll confirm how re-cleans work when you book.

What you prepare: spare linen, a stocked supplies cupboard, and a note of anything delicate, such as a marble worktop, an oiled wood floor or a vintage rug. We bring the cleaning products and equipment, unless you’d rather we use your own.

Keys, codes and getting in

Access is the part of short let cleaning that most often goes wrong, so we settle it before the first visit.

Plenty of East London short lets are in blocks with a concierge, fob-only lifts or a key safe on the front wall. Others are terraced houses with a smart lock. We work with:

  • Key safes and lockboxes, with codes shared securely
  • Smart locks, using a code you set for our visits
  • Concierge or building management key collection, if the building allows it
  • Keys left with a neighbour or local shop, if that’s how you run things

Tell us about bin store codes, parking permits and lift access too. Parking near some East London flats is tight, and knowing where your cleaner can unload saves time inside the changeover window.

Same-day turnovers and tight changeovers

Same-day turnovers are the normal job in short lets, with a guest leaving in the morning and the next one arriving that afternoon. We plan our cleaners’ days around those windows.

We can’t guarantee a slot for every short-notice booking, especially on busy weekends or around big events at the Olympic Park and the ExCeL centre. The more of your calendar we can see ahead of time, the better our chances of fitting in a last-minute booking. If a guest checks out late, tell us as soon as you know, and we’ll work out whether the clean can still be done before check-in.

What changes the price

Every property is quoted on its own. The main factors are:

  • Size and layout. Number of bedrooms, bathrooms and beds to make
  • Condition after each stay. A couple on a weekend break leaves less behind than a group of six
  • Your checklist. Restocking, welcome packs, linen bagging and photo reports
  • Frequency. Regular turnovers are planned differently from occasional ones
  • Timing. Tight same-day windows and weekend cleans
  • Access and travel. Parking, building access and travel within E

You’ll agree the price upfront before any cleans start. See our pricing page for more on how we quote.

Doing it properly between guests

  • Separate cloths. Colour-coded cloths for toilets, the rest of the bathroom and the kitchen, so a toilet cloth never reaches a worktop.
  • The right product for the surface. No acidic descalers on marble or natural stone, no abrasive pads on stainless steel or glossy kitchen doors. We test new products somewhere out of sight first.
  • Following the label. Contact times for disinfectant on high-touch surfaces, and rinsing where the instructions say to.
  • Safe for the next guest. Food surfaces rinsed, floors dry before anyone walks on them, and no strong product smells left behind. Eco-friendly products are available if you ask, checked for each surface.
  • Allergies and pets. If you allow pets, tell us. Pet hair on sofas and rugs needs extra time and the right attachments.

What hosts say

“I run a two-bed in Stratford and was spending every Sunday doing changeovers myself. Now I get photos and a note when it’s done, and they told me the bathroom extractor fan had stopped working before any guest complained.” Hannah R., Stratford, Airbnb turnover cleaning

“Good with the key safe and never late for check-in so far. Beds look like the listing photos.” Tomasz W., Bow, short let cleaning

“We had a group leave our Shoreditch flat in a real state after a birthday. They called before going on, explained what extra work it would need and gave me a price, and I could send the photos to the platform. Flat was ready for the next guest.” Funmi A., Shoreditch, turnover cleaning

Frequently asked questions

Can you do same-day turnovers?

Usually, yes. Most of our short let work is same-day turnovers between check-out and check-in. Short-notice bookings depend on availability, so sharing your calendar early helps.

Do you wash the linen?

No, not on site as standard. We change beds using linen kept at the property or delivered by your linen supplier, and bag the used sets for collection. Tell us how you handle laundry and we’ll fit around it.

Will you restock supplies?

Yes, from the stock you keep at the property. We top up toiletries, kitchen basics and consumables, and let you know when anything’s running low.

How do you get into the property?

Through whatever we agree with you in advance: a key safe, smart lock code, concierge collection or a key holder nearby. Codes are shared securely and only with the cleaners working at your property.

Can you tell me about damage or missing items?

Yes. Your cleaner notes anything broken, stained or missing and includes photos in the report, so you have a record to use with the platform if needed.

Do you cover my area?

Very likely. We cover short lets across East London and the E postcodes. Send us the address and we’ll confirm.

Is a turnover the same as a deep clean?

No. A turnover resets the property between guests. A deep clean goes inside cupboards, behind appliances and into the build-up that collects over months, and we’d suggest booking one every few months for a busy let.
