In the newer riverside developments and towers, we’re usually working with a concierge, fob entry and lifts. If your building asks for contractor details in advance, or you’d like keys left at the front desk, tell us when you book and we’ll plan arrival times around it.

The older estates are different. St John’s Estate beside Crossharbour DLR and the Samuda Estate in Cubitt Town are post-war blocks, and Samuda’s Kelson House is a 25-storey tower of maisonettes, so a clean there can include an internal staircase as well as the kitchen and bathroom. We don’t assume one flat is like the next. We agree a checklist for the property in front of us, its condition and the kind of clean you need.

Plenty of E14 flats have large windows and balcony doors. Internal glass, frames and door tracks can go on the checklist. External windows, especially on upper floors, aren’t automatically included, so we confirm them separately.

Regular cleaning around long working days
