Deep Cleaning Service in East London (E)
Some homes need more than a regular tidy round. Grease has built up on the extractor hood, there’s limescale on the shower screen, and dust has settled on skirting boards and the tops of the wardrobes. Our deep cleaning service in East London handles the jobs a weekly clean skips, room by room, against a checklist we agree with you first. We cover homes across E postcodes. Send us a few photos or give us a call and we’ll put together a free, no-obligation quote.
What a Deep Clean Covers, Room by Room
A deep clean goes into the places routine cleaning doesn’t reach. That means inside, behind, underneath and on top. Here’s what a full house deep clean usually includes. We adjust the list to suit your property before we start.
Kitchen
- Degreasing the hob, splashback and tiles behind the cooker
- Wiping cupboard doors, handles and kickboards, including the sticky film that collects near the cooker
- Cleaning inside empty cupboards and drawers, and wiping the shelves
- Extractor hood exterior, and the filters where they can be removed and washed
- Descaling taps and the sink, and cleaning around the plughole and overflow
- Fridge exterior, plus the interior if it’s empty and switched off in advance
- Microwave inside and out, and small appliances wiped down
- Floors scrubbed along the edges and under the kickboards where accessible
Oven interiors need different products and more time. If yours has years of baked-on carbon, our specialist oven cleaning can be added to the same visit.
Bathrooms
- Limescale removed from the shower screen, taps, showerhead and tiles
- Grout scrubbed and soap scum lifted from the bath and tray
- Toilet cleaned thoroughly, including the base, behind the pan and the hinges
- Extractor fan cover and mirror cleaned, and cabinet shelves wiped inside
- Floor cleaned right into the corners and around the pedestal
Bedrooms and Living Areas
- Dust removed from skirting boards, door frames, picture rails and the tops of wardrobes
- Light switches, sockets and door handles wiped
- Radiators wiped, including between the panels as far as we can safely reach
- Interior window glass, sills and frames cleaned
- Under beds and sofas vacuumed where furniture can be moved safely
- Upholstery vacuumed and cobwebs cleared from ceiling corners
Throughout the Home
Hallways, stairs, banisters and spindles. Interior doors on both sides. Hard floors mopped and carpets vacuumed thoroughly, including the edges where a standard vacuum head leaves a line of grit.
Extras That Need Agreeing Separately
Some tasks fall outside a standard deep clean because they need specialist kit, extra time or a different approach. We’ll quote for them alongside the main job:
- Carpet and upholstery extraction. Hot water extraction is different from vacuuming, and carpets need drying time afterwards.
- External windows and anything above a safe working height.
- Oven interiors, as mentioned above.
- Wall washing across whole rooms, beyond spot-cleaning marks.
- Inside a fridge-freezer that hasn’t been defrosted.
Cleaning has limits. Black mould coming back on a bedroom wall in a Victorian terrace is usually caused by damp or condensation, and it needs a surveyor or your landlord rather than another scrub. Etched glass, worn worktop finishes and cracked grout won’t come back to new. Suspected asbestos, needles or large amounts of pest droppings need the right specialist first. We’ll tell you straight if we think cleaning isn’t the answer.
Deep Clean or Regular Clean: Which Do You Need?
A deep clean resets the property. It’s the right choice before or after moving, after a long stretch without a cleaner, before a new baby arrives, or when spring comes and the house feels heavy.
After that, many customers move on to regular cleaning visits that work through an agreed priorities list and keep things at that standard. Starting with a deep clean means your regular cleaner spends their time maintaining the home rather than catching up.
Moving out of a rental? Book an end of tenancy clean instead. We work to your inventory and the agent’s requirements, which isn’t the same as a general deep clean.
How Long Does a Deep Clean Take?
It depends on size and condition more than anything else. A one-bedroom flat in East London that’s been kept reasonably tidy might take one cleaner most of a day. A three-bedroom house with heavy kitchen grease and limescale in two bathrooms may need a team, or more than one day.
When we quote, we’ll tell you roughly how long we expect to be there and how many cleaners we’ll send. That lets you plan around school runs, work or getting out of the way for the afternoon.
How Booking a Deep Clean Works
- Tell us about the property. Number of rooms, bathrooms, the condition, and anything that worries you. Photos of the kitchen and bathrooms help a lot.
- We agree the checklist and quote. You’ll know exactly what’s in scope, what’s extra and the price before anything is booked.
- We sort out access. You can be home, leave keys with a neighbour or concierge, or use a key safe. Let us know about parking too. Plenty of streets in E are controlled zones, so a visitor permit or a note about where to park saves time on the day.
- We clean. Our vetted, insured cleaners bring their own supplies and equipment unless you’ve asked us to use yours.
- Final check. We go back over the agreed list before we leave. If something within scope has been missed, get in touch promptly and we’ll arrange to put it right. We’ll confirm how that works when you book.
What Helps Us on the Day
- Clear worktops, shelves and the tops of surfaces where you can, so we spend time cleaning rather than moving ornaments.
- Empty any cupboards or the fridge you want cleaned inside.
- Tell us about pets, allergies, and delicate surfaces like marble, oiled wood or unsealed stone.
- Put away valuables, paperwork and anything fragile you’d rather we didn’t handle.
What Changes the Price of a Deep Clean
There’s no single price for a deep clean because no two homes are the same. Your quote is based on:
- Size of the property, especially the number of bathrooms and kitchens
- Condition, as six months of grease takes longer to shift than six weeks
- The task list, including inside cupboards, appliances and extras
- Specialist methods such as carpet extraction or heavy descaling
- Access, including stairs with no lift, parking and timing
You can see how we approach costs on our pricing page. For a firm figure, send us details and photos and we’ll agree the price upfront.
Products We Use and Why It Matters
The right product depends on the surface, not on what’s strongest. A descaler that clears a chrome tap can etch marble or limestone in seconds, so on natural stone we use pH-neutral cleaners and more elbow grease. Degreasers go on kitchen surfaces, not on painted walls where they can lift the finish.
A few habits we stick to:
- Separate cloths for bathrooms and kitchens, colour-coded so nothing from the toilet ends up near the chopping board.
- Test patches on anything we’re unsure of, such as older painted woodwork or an unfamiliar worktop.
- Following dwell times on product labels, as most cleaners need a few minutes on the surface to work.
- Rinsing food-contact surfaces so they’re ready to use when you get home.
- Ventilating as we go, which matters in small bathrooms and flats without much airflow.
Eco-friendly products are available on request. We’ll check they suit each surface first, as some plant-based cleaners struggle with heavy limescale and need more time.
What Customers Say
“Hadn’t had a proper clean since our second child was born. The kitchen cupboard doors were the worst bit and they came up like new. Even the tops of the kitchen units, which I’d been avoiding looking at.” Hannah R., Walthamstow, deep clean
“Left keys with the neighbour downstairs and came home to a flat that smelled clean rather than of bleach. The shower screen is see-through again.” Tom K., Leyton, deep clean
“Booked a deep clean before my parents came to stay. They sent photos of the extractor filter before and after, which was slightly horrifying. Good job though, and they told me upfront the mould by the bedroom window was a damp issue I needed to raise with the landlord.” Amara O., Forest Gate, deep clean
“Two cleaners, one long day, three-bed house. Skirting boards, banisters, radiators all done. We’ve moved to fortnightly visits since.” Daniel P., Leytonstone, full house deep clean
Deep Cleaning FAQs
What’s included in a deep clean?
Everything in a regular clean plus the detailed work: inside cupboards, skirting boards, door frames, radiators, limescale removal, degreasing and behind or under furniture we can move safely. We agree the exact checklist with you before booking, so nothing comes as a surprise.
Do you clean inside the oven as part of a deep clean?
Not automatically. Oven interiors take specialist products and extra time, so we quote them as an add-on. Let us know when you enquire and we’ll include it.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
No. Many customers leave keys with a neighbour, concierge or in a key safe. We’ll agree access and arrival time in advance.
Can you deep clean if I have pets?
Yes. Tell us what pets you have so we can plan around them. It’s easier if cats and dogs are kept in one room or out of the house while we work, especially when floors are wet.
Can you do a deep clean at short notice?
Sometimes. It depends on what’s already booked across East London that week. Get in touch and we’ll tell you honestly what’s available.
Will a deep clean remove every stain?
Not always. We’ll treat marks with the right products for the surface, but some stains have set or damaged the material, and older burns or etching can’t be cleaned away. We’ll tell you what to expect when we quote.
Do you use your own products and equipment?
Yes, we bring everything unless you’d prefer we use your own. If you have product preferences, allergies or want eco options, mention it when booking.
