Cleaning reviews East London – customer feedback by service

Cleaning Reviews from Customers Across East London

These cleaning reviews come from East London customers we’ve cleaned for: families, tenants, landlords and small businesses across the E postcodes. They cover the details people noticed, such as the oven, the inventory check and the dust that came back after the builders left. Read them alongside our services, then get in touch when you’re ready.

What East London customers mention most

The same few things come up again and again in customer feedback. Customers talk less about “sparkling” homes and more about practical points:

  • The agreed list was followed. We confirm the priorities before the visit, so you know what’s being cleaned and what isn’t.
  • Access was sorted in advance. Key safes, concierge desks, neighbours holding keys and office alarm codes are all arranged before the day.
  • We were honest about limits. If a stain is set in or a scuff is damage rather than dirt, we’ll tell you rather than overpromise.
  • Missed tasks were put right. When something in scope was missed and the customer told us promptly, we arranged to fix it.

Home cleaning reviews

“The fortnightly clean fits around our chaos”

Two kids, a spaniel and a hallway that’s basically a mud trap from October to March. We agreed a priorities list at the start: kitchen worktops and hob, bathrooms, floors, and the stairs where the dog hair collects. Some weeks I add the inside of the microwave and they just do it. The key safe arrangement means I don’t have to be in. Coming home on a Thursday to a clean kitchen is the best part of my fortnight.

“Finally got the shower screen clear again”

I booked a deep clean before my parents came to stay for Christmas. Our Victorian terrace has a lot of skirting, a lot of door frames and a shower screen that had gone cloudy with limescale. I sent photos when I asked for the quote, which helped them plan the time. The screen is clear again, the skirting boards are actually white, and they did the tops of the kitchen cupboards I’d been ignoring for about two years. They suggested making it a regular clean afterwards but didn’t push.

End of tenancy cleaning reviews

“They worked from the inventory, not guesswork”

Moving out of a two-bed in Stratford with a check-out booked for the next morning. I sent over the inventory and the agent’s cleaning notes, and they built the checklist around that. Oven, fridge, inside the kitchen cupboards, bathroom grout, windowsills, the lot. We’d emptied everything the day before, which they’d asked us to do. I left the keys with the concierge and they handed them back there afterwards. The check-out went fine. The only note was a scuff on the bedroom wall, which was ours from moving a wardrobe and not something cleaning would fix anyway.

“Something got missed and they sorted it quickly”

I’ll be honest, the extractor hood filter got missed on the day. It was on our list, so I rang the next morning and they sent someone back to do it before the agent’s inspection. Everything else was spot on, especially the bathroom, which had black mould in the silicone around the bath. They cleaned it back as far as it would go and told me straight that some of it was staining under the sealant. That’s the kind of answer I’d rather have.

Specialist cleaning reviews

“I can see through the oven door”

Five years of Sunday roasts had baked onto the racks and the glass. They took the racks out to soak, did the inside door glass properly, and cleaned the hob while they were at it. It’s an old oven, so a couple of marks on the base didn’t fully lift, and they said so before they left. Still miles better than I could’ve done with a sponge and a weekend.

Michael D., Forest Gate · Oven cleaning

“Good advice about drying time”

We had the hallway and living room carpets done in our flat in Bow. They told us when booking to plan for the carpets being damp for a few hours and to keep the windows open, so we did it on a Saturday morning and went out for lunch. The general grime is gone and the walkway by the sofa is the same colour as the rest of the carpet again. There’s an old red wine mark that’s much lighter but still faintly there. They’d warned me it might not fully come out.

Sophie K., Bow · Carpet cleaning

“The dust was everywhere and now it isn’t”

We had a kitchen extension done and the builders’ “clean up” was a sweep and a hoover. Fine dust was on every ledge, inside every drawer and on the light fittings, and it kept settling again. The cleaners went top to bottom, vacuumed with proper filters before wiping, and did the inside of all the new cupboards so we could actually unpack. They also got paint spots off the new windows. The house finally feels like ours again.

Office and commercial reviews

“Cleaned after we’ve gone, ready before we’re back”

We’re a small design studio of about twelve people in a converted warehouse. They come in the evenings after we’ve locked up. Desks are wiped, crumbs under the desks are gone (there are always crumbs), and the kitchen sink and fridge handles get done properly. The bins are emptied and the toilets are restocked from our supplies. When we changed our alarm system they updated the access arrangements without any fuss. Monday mornings are noticeably nicer.

How to read cleaning reviews before you book

Good reviews tell you what a cleaner actually does. When you’re comparing cleaner reviews in East London, look for:

  1. Specific tasks. Mentions of ovens, grout, skirting or inventory items are more useful than “great service”.
  2. How problems were handled. Every cleaning company misses something occasionally. What matters is how they responded.
  3. Honesty about limits. A cleaner who says a stain may not fully lift is more trustworthy than one who promises everything will.
  4. The right type of clean. A regular clean and a deep clean are different jobs. Make sure the reviews you’re reading match the work you need.

That last point matters most for moving out. A standard tidy won’t cover inside appliances or limescale build-up. If your oven needs serious attention, our oven cleaning service can be added to most bookings. For renovation dust, ask about after builders cleaning rather than a general clean.
