Book a Cleaner in East London
To book a cleaner in East London, send us your address, the type of clean and a couple of preferred dates. We’ll come back to you with availability and an agreed price before anything is fixed. Call 020 3947 0917 or email info@cleaning-east-london.co.uk, and we’ll take it from there.
There’s no automated checkout on this page. A person reads every request, checks that the job fits the slot, and confirms it with you directly. That stops a two-hour slot being booked for a four-hour end-of-tenancy clean.
What to send us when you request a booking
The more detail you give us at the start, the quicker we can confirm a date. A good booking request covers:
- Your postcode and property type. A studio flat in Bow, a three-bed terrace in Walthamstow or a ground-floor shop unit in Stratford.
- Bedrooms and bathrooms, plus any extra rooms such as a utility, conservatory or loft room.
- The type of clean. For example a regular visit, a one-off deep clean, an end-of-tenancy clean, after-builders work or a commercial clean.
- Current condition. Be honest. Heavy limescale, grease built up on the hob or a fortnight of renovation dust all change how long the job takes.
- Preferred dates and times, with a second choice if you can.
- Access arrangements. Tell us whether you’ll be in, keys are with a concierge or neighbour, or there’s a key safe or parking issue.
- Anything we should know. Pets, allergies, delicate surfaces like natural stone or unsealed wood, and any products you’d like us to use or avoid.
Photos help a lot with one-off jobs. A quick shot of the oven, the bathroom and the worst room tells us more than a paragraph. For offices, gyms or larger commercial spaces, we may suggest a walkthrough before we confirm.
How to choose a cleaning date and time
Give us the window that actually works for you, and we’ll match it to a cleaner’s schedule. A few things are worth thinking about before you pick:
- End-of-tenancy cleans work best after your furniture and boxes have gone, ideally a day or two before the inventory check. That leaves room to sort anything that comes up.
- After-builders cleans should go in once trades have finished. Fine plaster dust keeps settling for a while, so booking the day the last decorator leaves can mean dust landing on surfaces we’ve just wiped.
- Carpet cleaning needs drying time. Book it so the room can be left empty for several hours afterwards. Don’t schedule it for the morning of a move or a viewing.
- Offices and shops are usually cleaned outside opening hours. Tell us when the premises open, close and get locked up, and we’ll plan around it where we can.
Popular slots, particularly weekends and the end of the month when tenancies turn over, go first. We’ll always say plainly whether a date is available. Short-notice bookings are possible when we have a gap, but we can’t promise them.
Adding extras to your booking
Some tasks aren’t part of a standard visit, so ask for them when you book rather than on the day. That way the cleaner arrives with the right time, equipment and products. Common add-ons include:
- Oven interior, racks and glass door (see our oven cleaning service)
- Inside the fridge or freezer, defrosted beforehand
- Inside kitchen cupboards, which need to be emptied first
- Interior windows, frames and sills
- Carpet or upholstery extraction cleaning
- Balconies, blinds or high-level dusting
Each extra is priced and agreed with the main job, so you’ll know exactly what’s included before we start. If you’re not sure what a full clean should cover for your property, our room-by-room cleaning checklist sets out the differences between routine, deep and tenancy cleans.
How your booking is confirmed
You’ll know where you stand at each stage:
- You send your request by phone, by email or through our free quote form.
- We check the details. We may ask a question or two, or for photos, so the scope is right.
- We agree the scope and price with you before anything is booked in.
- You receive a booking confirmation by email. It sets out the date, arrival window, address, agreed tasks, extras and access arrangements.
- The clean goes ahead. Our vetted, insured cleaner works through the agreed list and finishes with a check against it.
Read through your confirmation email when it arrives. If a task is missing or the access details are wrong, reply and tell us so we can correct it before the day. We bring our own supplies and equipment unless we’ve agreed otherwise. Eco-friendly products are available on request, and we check that they suit each surface.
Need to reschedule a booked clean?
Plans change, especially around moves and building work. If you need to move your clean, call or email us as early as you can and we’ll offer the nearest available alternative.
We’ll go through the rescheduling and cancellation terms with you when you book, so they’re clear from the start. Earlier notice gives us a far better chance of finding you a slot that suits. It also lets us offer your original time to someone else waiting on a gap.
The same applies if the job has changed. For example, the builders may be running a week late or the landlord has added the carpets to the list. Tell us and we’ll adjust the booking and price before the visit.
On the day of your clean
- Have keys or access ready as agreed, and let a concierge or building manager know if needed.
- Clear worktops and floors where you can, so time goes on cleaning rather than moving things.
- Empty any cupboards, the fridge or the freezer if they’re included.
- Keep pets in a separate room or let us know how you’d like them handled.
At the end, the cleaner checks the work against the agreed tasks. If you find something in scope that’s been missed, contact us promptly and we’ll arrange to put it right. We’ll confirm any re-clean arrangements and how soon to report an issue when you book.

What customers say about booking with us
“I emailed on a Monday with photos of the flat and had the scope and price agreed the same week. The confirmation listed everything, including the oven and inside the kitchen cupboards, so there was no confusion on the day. The keys were left with my neighbour downstairs and it all went smoothly.”
Hannah R., Leytonstone · End of Tenancy Cleaning
“We had to push our clean back because the plasterer overran. I called, explained, and they moved us to the following week without any fuss. Much better than having it done with dust still coming down.”
Daniel O., Walthamstow · After Builders Cleaning
“Easy to arrange around our opening hours. They asked when we lock up and booked the cleaner in after close.”
Amira K., Stratford · Retail Cleaning
