What to send us for an accurate quote
The more we know at the start, the fewer surprises on the day. A good quote covers these points:
- Postcode and property type. A first-floor flat in Bow, a three-storey terrace in Walthamstow or a ground-floor shop in Leyton all take different time and kit.
- Size. Number of bedrooms and bathrooms for homes, or rough floor area and number of rooms for commercial premises.
- The type of clean. Regular, one-off, deep, end of tenancy, after builders, or a specific task like an oven or carpets.
- Condition. Be honest. A kitchen that hasn’t been degreased in a year needs more time than one that’s wiped weekly, and we’d rather price it properly than run over.
- Extras. Oven interior, inside the fridge, inside kitchen cupboards, carpet cleaning, interior windows, balconies.
- Preferred dates and times. Plus any deadlines, such as a check-out inspection or a shop opening time.
- Access. Keys, concierge, entry codes, parking and whether there’s a lift.
- Anything we should know. Pets, allergies, delicate surfaces like marble or unsealed wood, and any products you’d like us to use or avoid.
You don’t need all of this to get started. Send what you have and we’ll ask about the rest.
Sending photos for a deep clean or one-off estimate
Photos are the quickest way to get an accurate estimate for a one-off job. They show us things a description can’t: how much limescale is on the shower screen, how heavy the grease is on the hob and extractor, whether the grout has darkened, or how much dust has settled after building work.
Useful photos to take:
- The kitchen, including the hob, extractor hood and inside the oven if you want it cleaned
- Each bathroom, showing the shower, bath, toilet and tiles
- A wide shot of each main room
- Close-ups of anything that worries you, like marked carpets, mould on window seals or paint splashes on floors
- Any awkward spots, such as high windows, a loft room or a long staircase
Phone photos are fine. They don’t need to be tidy; we’d rather see the real state of things. For a deep cleaning job, photos of the kitchen and bathrooms do most of the work, because that’s where the time goes.
Quotes for end of tenancy cleaning
If you’re moving out, send us the inventory or the agent’s cleaning requirements if you have them. We’ll build the room-by-room checklist around what the landlord or agent expects to see, so time goes on the things that get looked at during check-out: the oven, inside cupboards, skirting boards, limescale in the bathroom and the inside of the fridge.
Tell us:
- Your check-out or inventory date
- Whether the property will be empty of furniture and belongings
- Whether you’d like the oven, carpets or interior windows included
- How we’ll get in and how keys should be returned
An empty property is quicker and easier to clean thoroughly, so book for after your belongings have gone where you can. Cleaning can’t fix wear or damage, and no cleaner can guarantee a deposit return, but a proper checklist-led clean gives you the best footing at check-out. There’s more detail on our end of tenancy cleaning page.
Quotes for regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning
For recurring cleaning, we’ll ask how often you’d like a visit, how long you think it needs and what matters most to you. Most people have a priorities list: kitchen surfaces and floors, bathrooms, hoovering, changing beds, dusting. We agree that list with you and work through it each visit.
A few things worth knowing before you ask for a regular cleaning quote:
- A routine visit doesn’t automatically include oven interiors, carpet extraction, high-level work or external windows. We quote those separately if you want them.
- If the home hasn’t had a proper clean in a while, we may suggest a deep clean first. It brings everything up to a standard that weekly visits can then keep on top of.
- Let us know if you’re working from home on cleaning days, or if we’ll need a key or entry code.
Commercial cleaning quotes
Offices, shops, gyms, communal areas and other premises usually need a short walkthrough before we quote. It lets us see the floor types, the washrooms, kitchen areas, bin arrangements and any areas with restricted access. We’ll schedule the cleaning around your opening hours where possible, so tell us when the premises are open, when they’re quiet and who will hold keys or alarm codes.
What affects the price
Every quote is based on the same handful of things:
- Size of the property and number of rooms
- Condition, especially kitchens and bathrooms
- The tasks included, and any extras
- How often we’ll be visiting
- Access, including stairs, parking and building rules
Parking matters more in East London than people expect. Much of Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham is in controlled parking zones, and some Canary Wharf and Stratford developments have concierge sign-in or loading bay rules. Tell us what the parking is like near you, and if there’s a visitor permit or building procedure, mention it when you ask for a quote.
Our pricing page explains these factors in more detail.
How the quote and booking are confirmed
- You send the details. By phone or email, with photos if it’s a one-off job.
- We ask anything that’s missing. Usually a couple of quick questions about access or extras.
- We send the quote. It sets out what’s included, what isn’t, and the price.
- You confirm. Once you’re happy, we agree the date, arrival time and key arrangements.
- We clean and check. At the end, we check the work against the agreed tasks.
If something within the agreed scope has been missed, contact us promptly and we’ll arrange to put it right. We’ll confirm how that works and how soon you need to let us know when you book.
Common questions about quotes
Can I get a fixed price for my clean?
We agree the price upfront, before work starts, based on the scope we’ve agreed with you. If you later want to add tasks, such as an oven or extra rooms, we’ll agree that with you first rather than adding it on afterwards.
Is the quote really free with no obligation?
Yes. Asking for a quote doesn’t commit you to anything. Take your time, compare it, and book only if it suits you.
Do you cover my postcode?
We work across East London and the wider E area, from Shoreditch and Whitechapel out to Stratford, Leyton, Walthamstow and Canary Wharf. Send your postcode with your enquiry and we’ll confirm.
Do I need to supply cleaning products?
No. We bring supplies and equipment unless we’ve agreed otherwise. If you’d like eco-friendly products, ask when you request your quote and we’ll check they suit your surfaces.
Can you clean at short notice?
Sometimes. It depends on what’s already booked, so it’s best to call and ask. We’ll tell you straight away whether we can fit you in.
Why might you need to see the property?
For larger homes, heavily soiled properties and most commercial premises, a quick look helps us price it accurately and send the right team and equipment. For most one-off domestic jobs, photos are enough.
Ready for your quote?
Send us your postcode, the size of the property, the type of clean and a few photos, and we’ll get back to you with a clear quote.
